That's me in the Amazon, making a new friend!
Now I travel the world. I see exotic places and have new adventures all the time. I haven't set foot in an office in three years. I don't need to. I do all my work from a laptop. All I need is my computer and a wifi connection (and these days even little towns in the middle of the jungle have decent wifi).
I don't need to chug a gallon of coffee every day just to stay awake...though I'm going to the coffee-growing region in the mountains of Colombia next week, so coffee is definitely on the agenda! My work is exciting and meaningful, and it doesn't ruin my lifestyle.
I make good money...but I don't need to. Most of the world has much lower cost of living than my hometown in Florida, so I could get by just fine making less than minimum wage if I had to. On a normal middle-class American salary, I can live like a king.
There's an awesome community of digital nomads (4.8 MILLION from the US alone, according to The Guardian) traveling the world and loving life just about everywhere I go, and they are a joy to meet and share stories with.
And when I get bored of a place, I just pack up and go somewhere else!
